"The only way to get out of something is to go through it"

Marriage & Family Therapy

Welcome!

I am so glad you found my site. No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you're headed, life is sure to throw some obstacles your way that are harder to handle than others. Getting the right support is crucial to your being able to navigate these obstacles in the most positive & effective ways.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am fortunate to be able to offer this support to my clients and witness it's powerful impact. Through this work, I've come to believe that with an open heart, listening ear, and guiding hand, anything is possible.

Naturally, the first step out of our comfort zones and toward necessary change is always hardest, but I can tell you there is only greatness up ahead from there.  I've made it my life's work to support my clients in getting out of where they no longer want to be and closer to where they do. Best part is that we'll figure out the in-between together.

How I Can Help You

I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and my primary treatment approach is Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT works through the process of identifying, processing, and shifting irrational, disproportionate, negative, & limiting thoughts/perspectives in a way that allows for improved thinking and overall functioning. We are often unaware of how such thoughts and perspectives have developed over-time and impede the relationships we want to have, things we want to do, and people want to be and instead, it becomes easy for us to blame other things or people for it. A major step toward feeling better and seeing improved results in your life is to stop living in resentment and start taking control back by extinguishing false/negative beliefs, building new coping strategies, reformatting your boundaries with responsibilities/people/etc., improving self-confidence, obtaining a healthier balance between the physical, mental, and emotional, and more. I believe in the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy to do all of this and am continuously impressed with how my clients respond to it.
